Crazy for Ewe opened at the end of August 2004.  We wanted to provide Southern Maryland with the highest quality yarns available anywhere.  To that end, we stocked the shop with silky soft merino wools, baby alpaca, kid mohair, and cashmere.  We carry other luxury yarns such as pure silk, silk and cashmere blends, angora, and hand-dyed yarns in a variety of fibers. We also carry a large selection of novelty yarns that make up into fabulous scarves, fun hats, and elegant wraps of all kinds.  We also offer Cascade 220, quality Peruvian wool in dozens of colors.  Choose either superwash for children's garments or untreated wool for fabulous felting projects. 

Our bookshelves hold all the latest titles.  We have instructional books with easy patterns as well as exclusively pattern books from Vogue Knitting, Kim Hargreaves, Nicky Epstein, and many top knit wear designers.  Our selection of patterns ranges from classic and elegant to fun and trendy.  We carry patterns from Fiber Trends, Idle Hours, Cabin Fever, Fiddlesticks Knitting, and many others. 

Classes are one of the most fun things we do at Crazy for Ewe.   Our Wednesday Workshop has been very popular with both beginning and veteran knitters.  We also offer private lessons, technique classes, and lots of fun project classes.
