This week is St. Patrick's Day, when everyone can enjoy the luck of the Irish.  Today through Saturday, enjoy a savings of 10% on all green (and orange) yarn!  You might like to take this opportunity to try working some cables, one of Ireland's most celebrated knitting traditions.  The Irish Hiking Scarf is a handsome project and perfect introduction to this easy and beautiful technique.

Also this week, we have our Mykonos Trunk Show arriving.  Six garments worked in this season's most interesting yarn from Berroco.  Mykonos is a linen-cotton-nylon blend with silky hand and a subtle shimmer that works up into a fabric with lovely drape.  It's a little different from other yarns you might have used, so you'll want to try it in on different needle sizes and in different stitch patterns to see what you like.  The samples we'll have here will help you see lots of beautiful possibilities.  I like them all, but I must admit that these are two of my favorites:

Saturday we have our second session of Fluffy Bunnies.  This sweet little project is a perfect addition to an Easter basket or just a welcome to the beautiful spring weather that's finally arrived.  Last week we had a great group around the table chatting and knitting.

I look forward to seeing you in the shop and around the table - you are always welcome here.
