Stephen West's shawl club patterns won't be released for another week, but to tide you over till then, Knitty's presenting his latest creation, Groove

Takes less than 300 yards of two colors of a dk weight yarn. You could also use something a bit finer for more drape. Two skeins Madeline Tosh Pashmina--one in each color would be perfect.
Also in this issue is Escargot, an adorable little cloche with a sweet spiral decoration.
