Our 2023 Crazy for Ewe Winter retreat is Friday, February 17 through Sunday, February 19th in lovely Leonardtown, Maryland, and I can't wait!
This retreat will focus on fit. In this workshop, you'll learn how to finally make sweaters that fit just the way you like them.
We'll have a special Zoom session with designer, author, and Rowan Brand Manager, Sharon Brant who will talk about garment fit.
Then we'll have a full day workshop on garment fit and how to get it the way you like it.
After this workshop you'll know :
- How to get the body measurements that matter
- What is meant by ease
- How to choose the right size to knit
- How to figure out sweater measurements when there's no schematic
- Where and how to adjust patterns to fit
- How to swatch properly
- How to accurately measure a swatch
- The different sweater construction methods
- The pros and cons of different sweater constructions
