New this season from Juniper Moon, Pollock is a perfect summer yarn. A lovely blend of silk and linen with beautiful tonal shades of watery blues, fresh greens, and pretty violets plus a range of soft neutrals. Pollock has a crisp appearance, but knits up into a comfortable fabric that will be cool and comfortable even on the hottest days. Linen softens and becomes stronger and more lovely with wear.
Listed as a dk weight yarn, you can certainly knit Pollock as tightly as you like. I've seen it swatched on a US 3, for a more structural fabric, and on a 7 for an open fabric with lots of drape. A generous 349 yards, means you only need two or three skeins for a summer top or a pretty warm weather shawl.
