Treat yourself

New to the shop are lovely Lavishea lotion bars. Michele Lightbown first found these and emailed me about how much she liked them.  Then last week Michelle Monroe was doing a little show and tell on her knitting bag and revealed one of the Pear lotion bars.  I was hooked and ordered them right away.   These fabulous little treats are silky disks of unrefined shea butter.  The shea butter melts with your body heat to nourish and moisturize your skin.  Lavishea lotion bars are super-smooth and absorb quickly so there's no greasy or sticky feel.  The scents are really lovely too -  essential oils and skin safe fragrances give each variety a fresh scent you'll love.   There's Lavender, Pear, White Lily Amber, Lemon Grass, and Ginger Blossom.   I can't decide which one I like best- I guess it depends on my mood. You don't actually have to choose just one - why not get several and stash one in your knitting bag, one in your purse, and one in your desk at home where paperwork can really dry out your hands.

Lavishea lotion bars are a product you can feel good about because they're made with 100% unrefined Fair Trade Shea Butter produced organically in Togo West Africa.  They not only soften your skin, but help support a village!  We have them in both shops, and there's a tester of each scent, so please come try them out.  Such a nice little treat for yourself and a terrific little something for your knitting (and non-knitting) friends.
