Noro event is this weekend
Okay, so I must have seasonal attention deficit disorder or something like that. Clearly my brain is too full. I've been working like crazy on so many different things including First Friday, Small Business Saturday, and of course, all things Crazy for Ewe. Bottom line is that I accidentally put the wrong month in last week's newsletter for our Noro event. It is this month - October! In fact, it's THIS WEEKEND! Noro Yarn Tasting is this Thursday, October 15th, and the big Noro Event is Friday and Saturday October 16th and 17th. That's this week!!! Thank you Dara, for taking the time to point this out to me. I trust you to be the one to tell me if I have a giant wad of spinach in my teeth - that's how you know who your real friends are.
Anyway, I'm super excited about Noro this year. They have this fabulous new super bulky weight that's appropriately named Kureyon Air. It's light and lofty and lovely. Our own Mary Hansen put together this beautiful infinity scarf that takes just one skein. The pattern is free with your purchase of Kureyon Air. There are also several awesome patterns from Designer Yarns, the European Noro distributor.
Ginni and Mary and I are busy getting ready for the event. As you know from Instagram, Facebook, and your visits to the shop, we are swimming in Noro. I love it, but I promise it will be displayed beautifully and not shoved in a mountainous heap by this weekend.
