The recent warm spell has finally given way to more November-like weather.  At last.  I love this season with brisk breezes and slight chill.  I think that's why this garment is SO appealing to me.  Smart and flattering, it brings to mind crisp apples, hot cider, and everything I love about fall.  I can totally see myself wearing it at the farmers market, on a walk in the woods, or combing through antique store treasures.  It's perfectly at home with my fall uniform of boots and jeans.  Just throw it on over whatever, and you're good to go.  This little number is super light too, so you can fold it up into almost nothing when the afternoon warms up.

It takes 5 skeins of Rowan's beautiful Felted Tweed, and it couldn't be simpler to knit.  Grab your size 6 (4mm) needles and get cozy on the couch.  This is perfect tv knitting - whether you're keeping up with the game or binge watching the last five episodes of Outlander (or Lost, or Game of Thrones, or whatever).

Choose your color and get started today because this is the chic basic you need this fall.
