We had a great time Saturday night knitting on the high dive with Lynne. But, before we got started playing with color and textures, Jan had a surprise for us:
WOW!!!
Anyway, Lynn was her wonderful, funny, self. She regaled us with the joys and perils of jumping off the high dive and how to best ensure that we get into the water looking great and having fun.
She gave wonderful tips on how to see how various yarns will look together – a much better indicator than simply holding two or three skeins of stuff up next to each other. And she talked about a subject near and dear to my heart: the swatch. So, we listened, we drank wine, and we all took up trip up the ladder, down the board, and we found that the water was great!
