When I selected the Katarina Jacket for our next Fit and Finish class, I also perused some of her other designs. I fell in love with three others in particular, and they've all arrived. The First is Marta, designed especially for Malabrigo Merino Worsted to take advantage of its softness and subtle shading. I love the way the ribbing allows this sweater to conform to your body and the give a flattering vertical element. I haven't knit a garment in the Malabrigo, so this might just be the one.

These next two are similar but different enough that I ordered them both. Sabine is a nice fall/winter/spring garment knit in one piece from the neck down - no seams to sew. Flattering bell sleeves and a graceful hemline you can wear tied or open.

Sabine only takes 650 yards, and the pattern calls for a laceweight cashmere, but I'm thinking it would be great in the Schaefer Andrea laceweight silk held with a strand of Haiku. What a luscious fabric that will be!

And finally, Gisela with a set in sleeve and and deep open collar. This would be perfect in Alchemy's Silken Straw and would take only three skeins. I'm thinking it will be an ideal wear-over-everything this summer., as it turns a simple bare camisole into an elegant ensemble.
