Celebrating

We had a steady turnout for our official opening in the new shop. I didn't get a chance to take too many photos, but here's a shot of the early crew, Traci, Deborah, Heather, and Phyllis. Karen, Joanne, and several other folks were shopping and missed being in the photo. We enjoyed Lynne's generous donation of Moet & Chandon champagne, (pink, of course). Thanks, Lynne.

Janet and Shirley made themselves right at home on the couch.

And Laura took the opportunity to try on the beautiful De Colores Jacket that Karen knit. She'll be teaching a class on this Jacket the 19th of this month at La Plata. She assures us that it's not nearly as difficult as it seems and it's just a matter of following the chart. The class is $45 - free with the purchase of Silk Garden and the coordinating solid.

It was a busy day, and Martha and I are just beside ourselves in the new location. It's beautiful, bright, open, and right in the middle of things, so it's much easier and more convenient for folks to stop by. If you haven't been in yet, we're at 6 St. Mary's Avenue - right next to the Green Turtle. Look for the pink banner.
