Moving day

Our guys arrived bright and early Sunday morning, and we were completely out of the old shop and into the new one by noon.

It was an amazing feat to watch those two men haul our 6x6 cubbies and the hugely heavy and extremely unstable glass cases. I had visions of having to take them all apart and put them back together again in the new shop, but they cleverly thought of using shrink wrap to secure the glass cubes to the base, and then they just lifted the whole thing up and carried it to the van.

Norma, Paula, and Martha were amazing troopers throughout the weekend, boxing and taping and labeling all the yarn and books. Paula, was an absolute angel to go up to Ikea Saturday and purchase another three large cubbies. Nicole came Sunday and used her amazing engineer skills to help me and Paula those three large cubbies and two smaller ones. Paula and I hung several sheets of gridwall so that we could hang some of the yarn. It's amazing how nice the yarn looks displayed this way- you can really see the colors!

Norma and Martha expertly arranged the yarn and the furniture and stocked the shelves according to gauge.

Come see!
