Brigitta!

At long last, here are those photos of the completed Brigitta that Ellen mentioned several posts ago.
Ellen did an exquisite job on her sweater, as always. And it looks even better on her than it does on the mannequin.
But here's the Really Big News about this design. It looks amazing on everyone. Really. I know you hear that all the time. But I've seen this garment on the petite and theslender, on the tall and slender, on the petite and round, and on the tall and robustly curvy. I've seen it in a muted neutral, and in a strong color. I've seen it knitted exactly as written, and modified for size & fit. And every sweater/wearer combination has looked truly smashing.
And it's so fast to knit, in either Sundae or Ushya (My niece, Glenda knit most of the body of hers as we drove to the New York Sheep and Wool Festival a couple of weekends ago). Plus, if you don't already know, you'll learn how to do a provisional cast-on, so you can custom-fit the sleeve length.
This is a flattering garment. Very flattering. And a fun, fun knit.
What more could any knitter ask?
