Pretty as a Picture

As you read in the newsletter, this lovely sweater is our First Friday project for December.  But, you don't have to be at First Friday in Leonardtown to do the First Friday project.  In fact, lots of us will be starting this gorgeous sweater TONIGHT in La Plata.  If you'd like to get started, come on down.  If not, come anyway I bought some yummy hummus and a bottle of Malbec.  On a related topic, Carol Paris informed me that the First Friday fancy pink drinks we serve, have a name - they are a Cosmopolitan.  How appropriate is that! I thought I'd invented it myself.  Oh well.  I guess I could claim, as Elizabeth Zimmerman always did that I "unvented" it, which means that I discovered this thing on my own, but clearly was not the first to have done so.  Anyway, yummy.
