Renowned designer, author, and teacher, Shirley Paden is coming to Crazy for Ewe this summer.
Shirley is the owner and founder of Shirley Paden Custom Knits in New York City. Her designs have been published in Interweave Knits, Vogue Knitting, and Knitter’s magazines. If you go to her website you can see her portfolio which is really only a tiny taste of her published work.
In her previous career, Shirley was a successful executive in the corporate world and she brings her sense of professional style, sophistication and elegance to her designs.
Shirley will be teaching two classes at Crazy for Ewe, July 22, and 23rd.
Friday, July 22nd, Shirley will be teaching a four hour session on Finishing. Shirley is an absolute perfectionist, and her finishing shows it. I understand that it's impossible to detect even where the ends have been woven into the fabric on the inside of her garments. Saturday, July 23rd, Shirley will teach a Master Class on Design. In this class she will walk you through the detailed design process from beginning to end with their silhouette, your yarn and your gauge. I am really excited about the opportunity to study with Shirley Paden.
