The yarn for this fabulous scarf came in last week with the Kid Silk Stripe, and man is it gorgeous. It's an instant project - truly, less than an hour even if you're a slow knitter.  The ruffles are as soft and billowy as whipped cream, and the feel around your neck is like a warm whisper.  It's only available for a limited time.  That means that when it's gone, it's gone.  I ordered all 6 colors -

Ginni knit up the fuchsia in Leonardtown last Friday

and Paula knit the teal knit in La Plata.  I couldn't resist wearing the teal one today.

It's easy as pie to knit - There's a pattern and instructions on the inside of each ball band, but here's the pattern - Using a size 7 or 8 needle, cast on 2 stitches.  Knit every row.  Yup, that's it.  The "yarn" is already worked into a beautifully soft fabric so your knitting is just a matter of poking the needle through.  There's truly, no way to mess it up.  No matter how you knit it, it will be spectacular.  Just think - you could have all your holiday gifts done this weekend!  My goodness, what will you do with the rest of that time?
