Manos Trunk Show

 We have a truly fabulous event for you in April.  We're receiving a giant trunk show packed with garments in the gorgeous Manos Silk Blend I've been raving about!  We'll have the trunk show for quite some time, but I have an extra special event showing in each shop.  We'll kick things off at the April First Friday celebration in Leonardtown Friday, April 6th.  We'll kick off a knitalong with one of the garments from the show.  We'll have another chance for you to see the garments in La Plata on Saturday, April 14th from 1:00 to 4:00 pm.  There will be patterns for all the garments in the show, as well as designs from some of the UK's top talent who have chosen the Manos Silk Blend for some really spectacular garments.  There's a lovely range of styles, and I'm quite pleased to note their Curves line which is especially designed for the woman with a more shapely figure.  There are three free sweater patterns from this line available for immediate download that I think you'll really enjoy.  Kandisnskyis a smartly styled jacket with optional intarsia detail and a lovely turned hem.  Saturday Sweater is ribbed pullover with polo collar.  The ribs are designed to skim over the body in all the right places - exceptionally smart and attractive on a womanly figure.  The last, Simple Sweater is a classic,  hourglass shaped pullover with a beautiful scooped neck and reverse stockinette trim for a clean flattering look.  This pattern could easily be modified to work in the round!
