I love a sweater that’s beautiful and wearable in equal measure. The April Cardigan is just that—a simple, feminine V-neck cardigan you can throw over anything, dress up or down, and wear year-round. It has a cropped silhouette, set-in sleeves, and lovely shaping through the yoke that makes it feel polished and elevated without being fussy.

It’s knit top-down in stockinette, with just enough going on to keep it interesting—first, shoulder shaping, then sleeve increases, then raglan shaping. Once the body is complete, you’ll pick up and work a classic ribbed front edge with buttonholes. Sleeves are worked in the round, and that’s it!

To make this cardigan extra special, I’m offering yarn bundles in our exclusive hand-dyed Tea Time Fibers. Each bundle has one skein each of:

    • Earl Grey 50, Tea Time's smooth and springy merino fingering put up in 50g skeins so you don't have to buy more than you need

    • Ankura, Tea Time's newest fiber, a light and lovely brushed mohair-silk in just the right yardage for the Early Grey 50

They’re dyed together in perfectly matched shades for a cohesive fabric with elegant halo and drape.

Each bundle includes 2 skein of Earl Grey (50g) and 1 skein of Ankura (50g) to hold together throughout the project.

    OR

2 skeins of Earl Grey (50g) and 2 skeins of Kidsilk Haze (25g)

How many bundles will I need?

Based on the yardage requirements for the pattern:

    • XS–S → 2 bundles

    • M–XL → 3 bundles

    • XL–5XL → 4 bundles

If you're in between or want extra for swatching or length, go ahead and round up!

The pattern is available here from PetiteKnit or on Ravelry.
