Knit a heart to fight breast cancer

October is Breast Cancer month -- how would you like a fun way to help raise money for Breast Cancer Outreach and Awareness? The Crazy for Ewe team is decorating a bra with pink knitted hearts for Uplifting Designs, the annual Breast Cancer fundraiser sponsored by St. Mary's County Arts Council. If you want to help, knit a pink heart and bring it to the shop by Monday, October 2nd. For every pink heart I receive, Crazy for Ewe is donating $1 to Medstar St. Mary's Breast Cancer Outreach program.

Knit a heart for someone you know who's had breast cancer. Knit a heart for your mothers, daughters, sisters, and friends because one in every eight women has had or will get breast cancer, and you never know when it will strike.

Be sure to come to Leonardtown First Friday, October 6th to see all the entries and vote for your favorite. Stop by Crazy for Ewe that night too, as we'll also be donating $1 for every glass of wine purchased all month long!
