It was a little over a year ago that I wrote a blog post about a new normal. Things were looking pretty bleak -- all I could think about was how much I wanted everything to go back to normal. I just wanted to be open and get back to in-person classes and gatherings around the magic table.

Now, finally, things are getting back to normal as we get our vaccines and the governor lifts restrictions bit by bit. It's just about back to normal, and I guess we can say goodbye to all these Live virtual events and zoom classes and all that mishmash, right?

Wait.  As strange as it may sound, I've gotten used to the Live video podcast.  Sure, I still have a slight wave of nausea everytime that red light says "YOU'RE LIVEI" but I've gotten to where I kinda liked doing the podcast. And I like being able to connect in a real way with my knitters all over the country for Zoom classes and knitalongs.

I also discovered that people really like my recorded classes. They can watch whenever they want without the fear of falling behind or the stress of keeping up. They take it on their own schedule, and it's there for them when they want it. Who knew???? Who'd have thought? Certainly not me, but now I do. Now I know..

So while I am thrilled to have my vaccine and to see the wonders it is working, at Crazy for Ewe, we won't be going back to normal. Instead, we're going forward to new and better. Keeping the good from the old way and also keeping the best of what we've learned during this time.

You like online sales with instore pick-up. We're keeping that. We can also mail it out to you, if you prefer. If you are local and can come in for classes, we will have those again, starting with entrelac on the 22nd. If you're far away, you won't miss out because I'll do it via zoom as well.

I've learned so much this year, and I'm excited to be moving forward with you. Thank you for your patience with me as I figured things out. I have so many fun things planned, and I can't wait to share them with you.

Whether you're in the shop and around the table, or connecting through the wonders of the internet, I am glad you are part of this community. You are always welcome here.

    Warmly,

    ~Ellen
