So Yuki

So Yuki is a DK-weight yarn made from 100% fine, mulesing-free Merino wool from Uruguay. It is spun as a carded yarn on a carriage spinning machine in Japan. The traditional technique adds an airy, light character to the yarn, making it soft on the skin while maintaining its breathable quality for comfortable wear. With a fiber diameter of 19.6 microns, the yarn retains warmth without feeling heavy.

Two by three threads form the twist, which gives the yarn substance and shape. The structure remains alive, the air in the thread provides volume without the stitch structure appearing restless.

So Yuki is also suitable for sensitive skin and is ideal for cozy projects such as sweaters, scarves and hats, as well as children's and baby clothing. The finished knitted pieces are gentle and flowing to wear and retain their shape for a long time. Harmoniously matched to the ITO portfolio, the color palette can be wonderfully combined with other yarns, for example with Sensai, and creates balanced, harmonious results.
