  • Crazy for Ewe Surprise Package

I tend to reach for the same thing over and over. Ask me how many pairs of black pants I have!  Someone I just wish someone else would reach out a hand and drab me out of my rut.  Is that you?  Nothing in your stash doing it for you?  I hear you!  That's why we're offering you a Crazy for Ewe Surprise Package!  This concept started as a chance to get yarn to you during the quarantine, but everyone liked it so much, I've kept it around as a little pick me up for any time you need to get our of a knitting rut.  Give me two words to guide me, and I'll pull together an awesome project just for you. Each package will contain yarn for a particular project and a pattern.

Be sure to check out the additional info on what I mean by warm an cool, and email me at ellen at with two words to guide me as I select your project. If the warm/cool thing is too confusing, just tell me your two favorite colors and any color you absolutely hate

I'm super excited to do this for you, and I appreciate you putting your trust in me.

I had a question on Facebook about what I meant by the Warm and Cool product options, so I wanted to clarify that. For this purpose, Warm and Cool refer to the color tones you would like for this package. Warm would be orange-reds, orange, peach, yellow greens, most browns, yellows, and the like. Cool would be blues, purples, pinks, blue greens, and blue reds. If you ever had your colors done, Warm is typically what Autumns and Springs wear, while Cool is what Summers and Winters wear. In the color palette below, warm colors are on the left and cool colors are on the right.

  • Rest assured that you are getting first run, top quality yarns from our latest collection.

Unless you tell me, otherwise, I will assume you have a full complement of needles.  If you are a newer knitter and need needles, please let me know.

I include a pattern suggestion for the yarn in your package that I think you will enjoy both knitting and wearing. You are by no means obligated to use that pattern for the yarn you receive. Please feel free to knit whatever you like with your surprise package yarn. Isn't that the best part about yarn - it can become whatever you choose!

I am grateful for the opportunity to spend time thinking about you and choosing something special for you.
