New for winter 2026, Koma is a show-stopping yarn from Noro that captures everything we love about Noro's Japanese aesthetic. Spun from a luxurious blend of 45% wool, 35% mohair, and 20% silk, Koma has the perfect balance of warmth, softness, and luster, all wrapped up in Noro’s signature self-striping palette.
Koma means spinning top, in Japanese, which is a perfect description for the fast changing bright colors in Koma. A generous 443 yards per 150-gram skein means that most sweaters take just 3 or 4 balls.
The mohair in Koma is not brushed but rather left smooth to drink up the dye and reflect the colors back. Combined with the silk, Koma has a lustrous sheen.
