DanDoh Wavelets Kit
Designed by Yumiko Alexander, the Wavelet Sweater is a sculptural summer piece that plays with texture and silhouette in the most delightful way. The body is knit in a subtle wave pattern using two strands of DanDoh Cotton Air held together, giving it structure with just the right amount of drape. The sleeves, knit separately in stockinette with larger needles, offer a lightweight counterpoint. The cropped 18” version as shown is perfect for layering over dresses or pairing with high-waisted trousers and skirts. A truly wearable piece of art.
This kit uses DanDoh Cotton Air, a light fingering weight 100% cotton yarn held double throughout. The yarn's crisp hand and airy construction are ideal for showcasing Yumiko's sophisticated shaping and textural elements.
