Paka Washi is a beautiful sport blend of alpaca and merino wit a silky hand and lovely twist that gives great stitch definition, In addition to the fabulous texture and colors, this yanr has undergone a cutting-edge process that allows this yarn to be gently machine washed.
The fibers in Paka Washi undergo an Easy Wash treatment that uses eco-friendly oxidants to prevent wool and alpaca from shrinking when washed in the machine. The process is certified under REACH, Oeko-Tex, and ZDHC (Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals) standards, making it a cleaner, greener choice. You get all the warmth and softness of alpaca and wool, in a machine-washable (cold, delicate cycle, dry flat) yarn that’s gentle on the environment.
