Knit the Champagne Cardigan With Me

We’re starting October 15 inside Club Crazy for Ewe.

I love the Champagne Cardigan—and I’ve already discovered that there’s much more to this sweater than simply choosing a yarn and following the pattern.

I’ve been swatching different yarns, working through the pattern myself, and making notes about the places where I think a little extra explanation will make the knitting easier. I’m even changing some of the techniques I’ll use in my own sweater.

That’s exactly what we’ll do together inside Club Crazy for Ewe: not just knit the pattern, but understand what we’re doing and why—and make thoughtful changes when the sweater needs to work differently for your body.

What We’ll Work Through Together

• Choosing yarn and making a fabric you actually love
• Choosing your size based on the fit you want—not just the number on the pattern
• Looking at your own raglan depth and modifying the sweater if needed, rather than assuming the pattern’s proportions will work perfectly for everyone
• Working through the short rows and raglan shaping
• Keeping the increases organized and easy to read
• Adding structure where a seamless sweater needs it
• Working that gorgeous double-knit button band
• And all the questions and modifications that inevitably come up as your sweater takes shape

You’ll be knitting alongside me and the Club community, with live help as we go and recordings available when you can’t be there live.
