A Creative Knitting Retreat for Using What You Love

Rediscover the beauty in your yarn collection and transform leftovers into stunning new projects at our three-day knitting retreat.

Join us for a joyful weekend focused on transforming your stash yarn into something fresh and beautiful.

We'll begin at Crazy for Ewe's new location for a reception before we head off to The Front Porch for dinner together.  

At our full day workshop Saturday, we’ll explore color combinations and textures using favorite fabrics or images to spark your creativity and guide your color choices. You’ll learn how to mix yarns with confident abandon, how to make stripes that look both organic and intentional, and how to use stitch patterns to blend yarns and colors.  We'll look at ways to bring cohesion and polish to stash projects, and give you lots of ideas to use for your own stash masterpiece.  

We'll break for a delicious catered lunch. Throughout the day, we’ll provide guidance on color pairing, texture blending, and stash organization, so you can feel great about what stays in your collection and what you’re ready to let go.

Everyone is on their own for dinner Saturday evening.

Sunday we'll reconvene for a show and share brunch.   

Friday, July 25

• 5pm:  Meet at the shop for a reception
• 6pm: Dinner at the Front Porch
• Meet at hotel for knitting and dessert

Saturday:

• 9:00 AM – Morning session
• 12:30 PM – Lunch
• 1:30 PM – Afternoon session 
• 4:30 PM+ – Open knitting time and relaxed community sharing

Sunday: 

• 9:30 AM – Show and Share Brunch
• 12:00 PM -- retreat ends, Join us at the shop for knitting or shopping.
