Hi all - Sorry for this late notice, but I need to close the Leonardtown shop at 3 p.m. today. We'll be open tomorrow as usual, so please come join us at Coffee for Ewe.
We've received the most gorgeous new silk yarn from Louisa Harding - Mulberry silk. Rich saturated colors, nice plied construction, and incredible shine. There are some beautiful patterns in Louisa Harding's spring book, but you can also use Mulberry in all patterns that call for dk weight yarn (like Soleil)
We've also had several people select Mulberry for the Krista Tee. This pattern calls for a heavier yarn, so you'd just want to knit a larger size than you'd normally wear. If you want to see how that gauge conversion would work, come by the shop and we'll do the math for you.
Also, there'll be a new voice on the blog. Lynne Warren will be sharing her thoughts and photos here. We look forward to her witty insights into the world of knitting.
