I've been thinking a lot about my favorite spring Noro yarn, Taiyo. There's a new book coming out later this spring, but in the mean time, I thought you might enjoy some suggestions on what patterns you could use for Taiyo in books that you might already have.
What I'm looking for are patterns that you can knit now and wear through the spring and summer. Here are a few of my picks:
From the book Pure Noro there's Sea Breeze. I can see this worn now over a turtleneck and later over a tee or a tank.
Likewise Lizzy from Naturally Noro. Ruffles continue to be big this spring and summer, and this is just enough ruffle for most of us.
This one is from the Jenny Watson's first Noro book, Catwalk - she even pictures it over a blouse and then as shown here.
This one is from Jenny Watson's Noro Flowers book from last summer. I don't much care for the colorway shown, but this one would be amazing.
Fitzmaurice, from Noro Unlimited, is one I've admired for some time. Knit in Taiyo, I would wear it all year round.
Finally, there's the February Lady, a free pattern you can access on Ravelry. I did one one in Noro Silk Garden, and have been thinking how gorgeous it would be in Taiyo. What a perfect, lacy summer sweater.
