Tuesday I was digging us out from the weekend's snow, thinking that no one would be in, but before I had even unlocked the front door, the lovely Jenny came in for some laceweight yarn. My darling husband came by and finished up the walkway.
I was busy inside. See:
For those of you who do not recognize this image right off, let me put it into perspective for you:
Now do you recognize it? Yes, indeed, that is a close-up of the bathroom floor in the Leonardtown shop. I keep the floor in there fairly clean, but when they installed the tiles a bunch of the adhesive oozed out in between the tiles, so the floor never really looked clean. No amount of mopping could get rid of it. So, thinking that I would have plenty of free time, I asked my DH to bring me a plastic basin and some Mr. Clean. The little plastic scrubby was not quite up to the task, but my steel wool - whoo baby! Clean as a whistle. FlyLady would be proud.
As I was cleaning the floor, the shop filled up bit by bit. I guess everyone was a little tired of being trapped at home. Here are a few of the souls who ventured in:
Evelyn worked on her Blossom in beautiful Mulberry Silk
Colleen raced in just needing to get out of the house
Vanna is working on her "My First Sweater" in Luxury Tweed Chunky
and Susan contemplates her next project. Hmmmm...what is brewing in that brilliant head of hers?
Sorry about having to be closed yesterday and today, but we look forward to seeing everyone at coffee tomorrow.
