  • How Good Can a New Weaver Be?

    May 08, 2010 1 min read

Martha's daughter Glenda came to town last week for a visit, and to pick up her birthday-present loom. She warped with Ella Rae Merino Lace, and wove with Alchemy Haiku, and after about 10 hours of work start to finish (including warping time, hemstitching, and tying fringe!), she had this lovely, sheer, drapey, trans-seasonal piece to wear.

The effect was so captivating that Cathy Greene decided to use the same yarns for her first project, in a stunning combination of blues. Can't wait to see it, Cathy!
