    Greetings from La Plata!
Ellen's post of Nicole's beautiful blue-purple scarf (Hi Nicole!) and the yarns Nicole has chosen to weave with next, inspired me to share some of the weaving that's been going on at the Charles County outpost of Crazy for Ewe.
I warped this scarf at midday on Tuesday, and it was finished at midday Wednesday.

This is an all-stash project. I warped with a single ball of olive green DK-weight lambswool that had been hanging around for quite a while, and wove with a souvenir skein of hand-dyed mohair-merino boucle that I got on a trip to New Zealand several years ago. The boucle gives a really fun texture, and also nicely conceals any imperfections in the selvedges. ;) There are a few skeins of an Ellyn Cooper boucle yarn in gorgeous colorways at both shops, if you'd like to recreate the effect!
