Two gorgeous things

First is Susan's new Blossom. She worked this one in beautiful Mulberry silk from Louisa Harding.  Susan modified the pattern a bit - lengthened the sleeves a bit and increased the number of twists in the center cable.  Spectacular garment, and a perfect fit.  Excellent work, Susan!

The other gorgeous thing was Johanna's amazing Saluki, which is the the most elegant dog you have ever seen.

This pup was apparently a gift from a Persian princess when Johanna lived in the middle east.  He has a sleek body like a greyhound with this incredibly silky, baby-fine hair. 

Can't you just picture this animal lounging gracefully on satin pillows!   He is so beautiful.
