Must-haves, good-to-haves, love-to-haves. They're all those tools, accessories, bits and bobs that make knitting and crocheting easier, better, and just more fun. And with the holidays fast approaching, we know we'll be seeing folks who love our Crazy for Ewe knitters and crocheters in the shops, hoping to pick out a perfect gift. Make it easy for them—come in next week and fill our a Wish List Card. It's like a letter to Santa, only it's all about the fiber. And we know you've been nice all year, so don't you deserve an extra-nice treat?

To get the ideas flowing, each member of the Crazy for Ewe team has put together her own list of the things she loves best—things she already has, knows, and wouldn't want to be without, plus those special things she's hoping to find under the tree this year.

    Let's start with the ever-fabulous Ginni Stein . . . .

What can't I (or anyone else) live without in a knitting life?
    1.  Lots of needles in various sizes...interchangeable sets are the absolute answer.  I've found that I much prefer working with circular needles no matter what I'm knitting - in the round or back and forth.  My work is contained and the needles fit so much better in my hands.  An added bonus....when I'm on a plane, my seat companion doesn't get poked by the non-working end of a straight.
    2.  Blocking board - Many, many years ago a friend and I built a blocking board for our needlepoint handwork from muslin, homosote, indelible markers, and a yard stick.  OMG - the ones we sell at Crazy for Ewe are so far beyond what we were able to create, and I can't imagine going back to that homemade one.  Every knit item that I make spends time on the blocking board turning into just the right size and right look.  How was I able to live without it?
    3.  Swift and ball winder - Why on earth would I need these items when I spend so much time at the store where they are available for my use?  Ummm...I'm not at the store at 10 pm when I realize I've run out of balled yarn for my project, and I absolutely have to continue at least a few more rows before putting it down for the day.  Compulsive on my part?  No...just eager!
    4.  OK, so I already have lots of needles, a blocking board, a swift, and a ball winder.  What's on my personal wish list?  Well, for those of you who might drop a hint to my loving husband....I am lusting for an Atenti Overnighter or Satchel or even an Accessory Bag.  Ellen and I saw these at TNNA and couldn't resist - the fabircs are sooooo beautiful!  One with bright reds or greens...some animal print highlights....are you listening, Santa?

A snappy little notions bag (above) would make Ginni happy,
and one of these gorgeous overnighters (below) would make her very, very happy.
(Ellen's putting in an order, so they'll be in stock soon!)
