What to knit??? I'm already tired of my winter knits but it's too early for me to get excited about summertime. I'm looking at transitional pieces now. Sweaters that works for chilly mornings but aren't too warm for sunny afternoons. Things I can slip on and off in fabrics that breathe, and colors that speak to my heart's longing for springtime.
Lovely Cecelia is perfect
Yes, I know it's long, and it looks like a lot of knitting, but it's at a gauge of 16 stitches to 4", so you know it will work up fast. Plus it's an interesting knit. And Rowan Four Seasons Cotton is super budget friendly. You could knit this for about $160.
If Cecelia is too much of a commitment, check out Luna
Join me this week on YouTube for a look at the Edition series by Quail Studio which includes the Cecelia pattern and several other designs you'll love.

I live in AZ and I’ve been thinking a lot about cotton yarn. It’s hot here in spring and summer. I now have 5 different skeins of cotton (some blends) that I’ve ordered online and swatched (lang Sakura, Debbie bliss dulcie, four seasons , cascade cantata, berroco modern cotton and a knit picks ) Rowan Four Seasons is one of them. I like the twist of it and it’s fun to knit. But the pinkish color is dull and more flesh color than pink to me. I live where there are very few yarn stores so I order on line. I’m kind of discouraged right now about what to order and try next. Suggestions?
