Summer Mystery Shawl KAL

The Mystery Shawl Knitalong (KAL) starts Saturday, July 15th  If you've done a Mystery KAL with us, The yarn is here!!!!  It's a beautiful soft pima cotton that's a joy to knit wonderful to wear. Choose your color here, or stop by the shop to pick it out in person.  If you're unsure about joining the fun, here are 4 reasons you should do it:
  1. Sometimes the look of a project can be very intimidating -- all those fancy things going on. Truth is, knitting happens just one stitch at a time, and when you focus on just the stitches you're working right now, even the most complex pattern is mindful and quite achievable.
  2. It's easy to fall into a knitting rut. We like what we like, and that's how we end up with everything on and off our needles looking basically the same. A mystery shawl KAL opens you up to something you will absolutely love but might never have chosen for yourself. Is it a bit of a risk? Sure, but it's a calculated risk - this is Mary's pick, and has she ever steered you wrong? I didn't think so...
  3. Getting just one clue a week means that there's a built-in break. You can only work as much as we tell you, so there are these wonderfully satisfying milestones you get along the way. You can never binge-knit a mystery KAL
  4. The anticipation is intoxicating. There's a little thrill of suspense as you wait for the next clue - what will it be? How will it change the project? I wonder what it is.. With instant 24/7 communication, today's life is thoroughly lacking in mystery. Just the idea that you don't already know everything there is to know about a thing is deliciously refreshing.
So get your yarn, and sign up today so you don't miss out.

I’m enjoying the mystery KAL! Love the bright red I chose, and the pattern is interesting enough. just wondering how big this thing is going to get…I’m at row 83, and still on the first skein, so thinking I might need to switch to a longer cable!
