Illimani

Illimani yarns are something truly special—elegant, ethical, and incredibly luxurious to knit. This is yarn that feels like a treat in your hands and looks even better on your needles. Two of my favorites are Amelie and Sabri II, each with a completely different personality but the same unmistakable Illimani quality.

Amelie is like knitting with a cloud. It’s a chainette blend of baby alpaca, silk, and merino wool that’s unbelievably soft and light. It creates fabric with just the right amount of halo—perfect for cozy sweaters and accessories that feel like luxury loungewear you can wear in public.

Sabri II is more casual but just as refined. A sport-weight blend of organic cotton and natural baby alpaca, it has that earthy elegance I love. The undyed colors are soft and subtle, and  the dyed colors are rich and saturated.  Sabri II makes a fabric that is breathable, drapey, and quietly sophisticated—ideal for summer tops or layering pieces you’ll live in.
