This kit is to make the Bladlilje or Lily Leaf Top. The top is worked top down with a lace knitted circular yoke. I'm not typically a fan of yoke style sweaters, but this one works because the lace pattern is shallow and doesn't extend into the armhole area, so your sweater stays put when you lift your arms.

The pattern is thoughtfully written with two versions of the top included. The first version has a ribbed body. The second version has a stockinette knitted body and ribbed hemline. There are also several alternatives for waist shaping included.

Bladlilje is intended to be worn with 1" to 2" of negative ease. That means you should choose a size that is 1" to 2" smaller than your full bust. See Specifications for size details.

Needles: 3.5 mm/US 4 circular needle, or needle size required to obtain gauge. 3 mm/US 2.5 circular needle for the bands. Note: If you knit lace at a looser gauge than stockinette stitch, work the lace pattern with a smaller needle.
