Bramble & Fleece Bracken Sweater Kit

Bracken is knitted from the top down in Sheepsoft DK, with the sleeves picked up from the body and worked in the round. The cable patterns are charted, and the pattern includes access to downloadable charts so you can print them larger or use them in your chart-reading software.

Sheepsoft DK gives the cables lovely definition. Its blend of British Bluefaced Leicester and Masham wool has a gentle bounce and subtle heathered color that suits this design beautifully.

Pattern is written and the cable pattern is charted with a QR code to download the chart.

RECOMMENDED NEEDLES
3.5 mm and 4.0 mm circular needles (40, 60 and 80 cm)

GAUGE
Stockinette stitch using 1 strand on 4.0 mm needles: 23 sts × 30 rnds/rows = 10 × 10 cm
Cable pattern repeat (16 sts × 28 rows): 5.5 × 8.5 cm

Your kit includes the Bracken PDF pattern and the Sheepsoft DK yarn required for your selected size, in your choice of color.

You’ll also need: 3.5 mm and 4 mm circular needles, or sizes needed to achieve gauge, plus your usual cable-knitting supplies. Needles and notions are sold separately.
