Purl Strings
Purl strings - these handy little gadgets are so useful! The idea is that you can slip these grippy little tubes right onto the tip of your needle so you can stretch your stitches out and try on an in-the-round garment. But here's the best part - you're don't have to slip any stitches to waste yarn or anything because these guys hug your needle tip, you can just keep knitting!
I am not primarily an in-the-round knitter, but I find Purl Strings to be perfect stitch holders for necklines and other stitches awaiting your attention. They don't stretch the stitches out, and you can knit right from them. Super awesome things you NEED in your knitting bag. Pick a fun color that you love. I like to have a dark colored set for my light colored projects and a light colored set for projects knit in a dark yarn.
