I always scout around on Ravelry for stuff that's beautiful, fun to knit, and wonderful to wear. I especially love it when I find a new designer who graciously publishes her designs on a blog. It's good publicity for the her, and you guys get a nice free pattern and are introduced to a designer you might not otherwise know about. This morning I came across this beautiful cowl by the very lovely Julie.
Photo belongs to Julie aka Knitted Bliss. |
Julie has a blog "Knitted Bliss" where you can find the pattern, or if you're on Ravelry, you can find it here She young and a newlywed, and she just seems so sweet. Anyway, it's a very nice pattern that you can work either flat in two sections or in the round, if your circular 10s are long enough. It's worked in dk weight yarn, so it would be perfect in either Rowan Merino dk or Sublime Extrafine Merino dk. It's an easy to memorize pattern that's not boring, but won't consume your attention. Stop in the shop and pick up your favorite color. Be sure to post your project on Ravelry and send Julie a comment!
