Bunny love

This handsome new addition to the La Plata store is courtesy of the Southern Maryland Carousel Group.  His name is Harlequin Bunny, but he's such a cool, hoppin' dude that we call him Steve McHare.  Don't you just love his jaunty ears and morning glory flank!

Steve McHare is just one of the 50+ carousel animals lovingly hand carved by the gentlemen at the Carousel Group and hand painted by local artists.  We'll be getting another lovely carousel animal this weekend, and one in Leonardtown later this month.  Other animals from the collection are on display at local businesses in La Plata including, HOUSE, Halo Salon, Joson's Jewelry and Gifts, and more.
