A lovely bit of instant gratification from one of our favorite shawl designers, Melanie Berg, the Decemberist Shawl is just what you need on your needles right now. You've been running around doing for everyone all season, you deserve this little treat!
Our version is worked in Juniper Moon's incredibly soft new yarn, Fourteen. On Size 11 needles, and blocked to 7 stitches over 4 inches, it's light and drapey, and absolutely lovely. Choose holiday red, elegant white, statement-making, calm cloud gray, crisp cobalt, or rich charcoal. They're all quite fabulous - you might need to make several.
